Just outside Sutton Coldfield you can find a little piece of foodie paradise.
The Fig & Olive café, bar and restaurant – at Coppice Garden Centre in Middleton – has been welcoming guests now for many years and has become a firm favourite of local lovers of great quality food.
Led by executive chef Chris Duckworth, the team serves a delicious array of dishes for
breakfast, lunch and dinner.
On the dinner menu currently are firm favourites such as salmon teriyaki and ale battered
haddock alongside new vegetarian dishes including aubergine, chickpea and tomato curry.
Our photos and video show Chris preparing a tasty butternut squash risotto with crispy sage
toasted sunflower seeds and freshly grated parmesan which is on the latest summer menu.
Many of the ingredients are now grown in the restaurant’s own kitchen garden, which
guarantees they are as fresh as possible and cuts down on delivery-related emissions.
At Mrs and Mrs Clarke Sutton Coldfield, we love to pop along for a coffee and cake or a bite
to eat at lunchtime while sitting in the beautiful garden area. There’s also the amazing gift
shop to enjoy, where you’ll find some fantastic interior design inspiration for your home.
