We love dogs at Mr and Mrs Clarke. Marlowe our loyal Labrador has been by our side for nine years and it was on a long walk with him in the South Downs that the idea to start a boutique estate agency was dreamt up. He is our first born, best friend and go to for a cuddle – we love him!
Then there is Jojo, the charismatic Coton de Tulear and Walnut the wonderful Whippet who welcome guests into our Brighton studio. Jan and Luke, the creative brains behind Mr and Mr Clarke belong to these two stylish hounds and a meeting is not complete without one of them being present.
We think a home is not quite the same without a dog and that is why you will see so many pampered pooches featured throughout the homes we advertise. After all, it’s said that if you own a dog you live a happier, healthier life.
Whilst I was mooching along Columbia Road, E1 to look at a home we are selling I stumbled across a gorgeous little shop selling beautiful pet accessories. Now this isn’t Pets at Home… it is more Prada for pooches. Hiro + Wolf is now the only place we will go to dress our dogs.
Accessories designer, Amy Fleuriot and animal lover, Bee Friedmann first met in 2011 while walking their dogs in London Fields Park in Hackney, London. They quickly discovered a common love for design, animals, and sustainability, and almost as quickly converted their shared passions into an accessories brand named after their two dogs, Hiro + Wolf. The brand officially launched in the Summer of 2013 with a collection of vibrant, British-made products for pets.

Handmade in England our unique dog collars are rigorously tested by Hiro and Wolf on muddy walks through Hackney marshes and the occasional shopping trip to Liberties.
