Two of our recent properties have been snapped up by social media-savvy buyers who have spotted their future home on Instagram. The Mr & Mrs Clarke team always post pics of new homes during the photo shoots, which take place weeks before they actually appear on Rightmove and Zoopla. Just like a pop star might declare a breakup #hiddleswift or a fashion label will give us a sneaky peek at the upcoming collection #ss7 we will announce new homes through Instagram.
The two homes that were sold through Instagram were not bought by the stereotypical social media user. The buyers weren’t teenage girls glued to their mobile phone, they were ladies who appreciate great photography and like to keep up to date with what is happening to friends, family and a select few brands. While it may have been teenagers looking at endless selfies that dominated Instagram a few years ago, today is a different story. Instagrans, Instamums and Instabrands are across the photo sharing platform with consumers buying, sharing and keeping current on fashion, homeware, news and property. I
