A cuppa with Jason

Asides from being possibly the nicest person on the planet (and keenest runner too) Jason is an expert in making all things print and digital come to life. He is to thank for a lot of Mr and Mrs Clarke’s imagery you see day to day and he helps bring our personality through onto the screen. Here’s how our cuppa went with our in-house Graphic Designer.

Strictly Business

First and foremost why did you choose to work with Mr and Mrs Clarke?
I wanted to help drive the brand forward and be a leader in the industry. Sharing my creative insights and portraying the wonderful homes we sell in our discerningly different way is what I enjoy!

Favourite type of property?
Being new on the property ladder, I currently live in a flat. Space is great, so have ambitions to upsize when the time comes, but the cosiness of a flat, while being in a great location (currently I live by the sea) gives me the best of everything at this moment in time.

Your Mr and Mrs Clarke highlight so far?
Working with Daniella on a daily basis to bring the brand to life through print and digital outcomes is such fun. She has such infectious positive energy that rubs off on me and we create higher quality results with our collaborative approach.

Where’s your favourite town/city?
Sydney, Australia. I was lucky to be able to go as part of a trip to Australia at the start of 2020 (returning home before Coronavirus was a thing). With its mix of historical and modern architecture and culture, it was a total feast for the eyes, ears and belly.

A little more personal…

Tea or Coffee?
A time and a place for both, a coffee to start the day and usually a herbal tea later in the day… all decaff though.

Early bird or night owl?
Early bird for sure. I am a keen runner and cyclist and starting the day at sunrise with exercise really sets me up for the day ahead.

What 3 items would I always find in your fridge?
Milk, cheese and yogurt… there’s a theme there.

What was your first job?
A retail assistant in a supermarket, where I used to run the fresh produce department and on Sundays was in charge of the whole shop, so a role of real responsibility.

Last series you binge-watched?
The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix, really enjoyed that and its subject matter, as not something I haven’t taken an interest in before.

Which website do you visit the most?
I get my daily fix of creativity and culture from Creative Boom, lots of smaller articles to digest and inspire.
