Anerley

Anerley

Samos Road sits within a lovely quiet residential area, yet close to all the action. Just a short walk away you can enjoy a pint at The Anerley Arms, or if you fancy something a bit more crafty, then enjoy a few at the Douglas Fir. The guys at The Gipsy Hill Brewery are absolutely killing it with their delicious craft beers.

Crystal Place is just a quick bus ride away and it just keeps growing in popularity. Recent years have seen an abundance of new indie shops and restaurants opening up, alongside some longstanding institutions such as the lovely Joanna’s and Urban Orient, arguably two of the best eats in SE19.

Want to escape the crowds, then head over to Crystal Place Park and enjoy the fantastic views, the quirky Victorian dinosaur sculptures or sip a coffee from the most architecturally exquisite park café in London – Brown & Green. We wish every Park Café was like this!

  • Closest village/town: This is the perfect village vibe, however you are super close to central.
  • Stores: Oh we love a bit of the triangle which is nearby. Think indie shops and cafes.
  • Pubs: You can’t beat a pint of Hepcat or a Baller.
