The rather exclusive development of Dieu Brook is located in the Leicestershire village of Whitwick, close to the town of Coalville.
Connectivity to Ashby de la Zouch, Leicester and Nottingham is excellent, whilst Loughborough train station is around 9 miles away. East Midlands Airport is a mere 7 miles when international travel calls.
You’ll discover a super selection of schools nearby, from primary schools, to secondary and Sixth Form colleges. They range from Ofsted Good to Outstanding. And, of course, grammar and independent options abound as well.
Well connected
There’s a good sense of community in Whitwick with a village coop, social club, doctors’ surgery, churches and various inns. The Black Horse has a dog friendly beer garden and the historic Three Horseshoes (known fondly as Polly’s) dates back to 1882.
Foodies will find an excellent selection of eateries within just a mile or two. Try Ruby’s for a tasty fish and chip supper and La Torre for an Italian feast.
The brand new Whitwick and Coalville Leisure Centre features a gym, fitness studios and swimming pool. There’s a sports hall for all manner of activities encompassing everything from badminton to volleyball, and even a clip ‘n’ climb.
And, for a day out with the children, The Hermitage Recreation Ground is wonderful, with a miniature railway, play area and duck pond fishing. Great to stretch legs of any number too! Pack a picnic and enjoy.
