Birmingham

Birmingham

This city is not second best

Birmingham is hot right now. Businesses, small and very large, are flocking here, creative types are generating a buzz and independent shops, cafes and bars are on every corner. There are more Michelin stars than any other city outside of London and the mighty balti is brilliant. We Love Brum.
We also love a little fact so… Birmingham minister Joseph Priestley discovered oxygen in 1774. I suppose the city helping people breathe fresh clean air by having 571 parks totalling over 3,500 hectares of public open space (more than any other European city) and having the largest urban nature reserve in Europe is a pretty fitting tribute to Mr Priestley. Ahhhh breathe!
Birmingham is enjoying a renaissance and it is easy to see why. There is a great feel to the city, employment is up, Grand Central Station is open and full of shoppers and commuters, the new Metro is nearly fully running and the place is alive with the sound of excitement. We Love Brum.

"Birmingham has a great feel to it. There are loads of cool things to see and do, there is a vibrant community and the people are lovely. We Love Brum."

The Jewellery Quarter is surrounded by historic buildings harking back to an industrial age, there is a neighbourhood feel and a special atmosphere.
We love the Jewellery Quarter for its independent vibe and community feel.
The location of The Jewellery Quarter makes access to the CBD and City Centre quick and easy, with a short walk over the flyover (and a stop at Urban Coffee on Church Street).

Arch 13 and Loki provide a plethora of wine selections and Pasta di Piazza just off St Paul’s Square serves the best Italian in town (in Mrs C’s opinion). But don’t stop there, with Lasan and Folium on the doorstep, you’ll be dining out as much as in.

The great thing about the area is that it is continuing to grow. The opportunities for businesses and homeowners to thrive is ever growing. The area is well connected for commuting, but also enables a work life balance.
