Dundonald is a quaint village in the heart of the Ayrshire countryside

Dundonald is a lovely rural village but within easy access of the sea and larger towns with all amenities. This tranquil town give you a real feeling of country life, but still only minutes from the nearest large town or train station. It is the perfect place to get home to after a hard days work, get the dogs on the leash and meander through the local street and country lanes.

Dundonald is one of THE hidden gens in Ayrshire often and wrongly overshadowed by its close neighbours of Symington and Troon.

Dundonald is a very active town with a great community spirit. It is the most southerly of Scottish towns to have an annual highland games, which are held in the 12th Century Dundonald Castle grounds. It is large enough to have all you would need for day to day living, but small enough to maintain its personality and welcoming feel. There are any numbers of bars restaurants within a few miles and also plenty within walking distance.
