Perfect slice of South London
East Dulwich, Peckham and the surrounding area is undoubtedly one of the best spots in South East London, if not the whole of London! The large green spaces of Peckham Rye Park and Dulwich Park are just a short walk away, plus excellent schools can be found throughout the area. You can’t beat an early morning walk through the parks followed by enjoying some beautifully made cakes and coffees at local hangouts such as Kanella & Co, Rise and Bloom and the rather indulgent South East Cakery.
Suitably stuffed for the morning, you’re ready to hit the high street for some retail therapy. Whether its Rigby & Mac and Mrs Robinson to browse for accessories for your new pad, or a visit to William Rose Butchers or the array of independent cheese or fish mongers for high quality fresh produce, you can easily find everything you need in this eclectic neighbourhood.
Serious community spirit
The wide variety of independent shops and restaurants adorn both Lordship Lane and Bellenden Road which makes this the perfect place to pick up something lovely for your home or a friend. Head to Forest if you want to bring some nature into your home, or if you want to try your hand at flower arranging they offer some incredible workshops.
Finally, with the East Dulwich Picturehouse on your doorstep, together with a variety of gyms, yoga studios and sporting clubs, there is no shortage of ways to spend your leisure time. We love east Dulwich so much so that we simply don’t have enough space to tell you everything. Michael can though!
