Edgbaston

Local life

An exclusive suburb of Birmingham, Edgbaston is steeped in rich history and is one of England’s largest conservation area. The stunning Fawsley home sits on a peaceful leafy street, yet is just a stone’s throw from all the action with the city centre just over a mile to the North. You’ll also find the tram stop just ten minutes from the house and a local train service 5 minute away ready to whisk you off to the city in no time.

An array of independent pubs, cafes and restaurants line the streets (Smoke and Ash is the perfect choice for a pizza and and glass of wine). You’ll find all the big names nearby too with Michelin Star restaurants abound (Simpsons being our favourite). The infamous Broad Street, National Indoor Arena, Symphony Hall, Mailbox and Brindley Place are all easily walkable meaning you’ll never be short of things to do.

Friendly community

Your weekend activities are catered for with Edgbaston Golf club, Edgaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham Botanical Gardens and the Winterbourne Botanic Garden all nearby. There’s also a number of green spaces a short distance away as well as the extensive canal network, both perfect for dog walks and lazy weekend strolls with friends.

A wide range of schools for children of all ages is available in the vicinity both in the private and state sectors. West House School is within 100m of the property but also nearby you’ll find Hallfield Preparatory School, Blue Coat School, Edgbaston High School for Girls, St George’s School, The Priory School and The King Edward’s Foundation School.
