Fairfield Park
Friendly vibes
Fairfield Park, Stotfold, is flanked on all sides by larger towns such as Arelsey, Letchworth and market town, Hitchin. Fairfield Park itself is home to a lower school, community hall and bowls club, with much more on offer. Not to mention the hundreds of acres of parkland just waiting to be explored. Hop on a bike or lace up those trainers and take to the trails on offer in and around Hertfordshire. With blue and green lagoons, green communal areas, there is nature aplenty to enjoy. Did you know, Fairfield Park is also the home to ancient apple orchards?!
There is Fairfield lower school on the park which has been rated as outstanding along with many nearby middle and upper schools of Etonbury Academy and the renowned Samuel Whitbread Community College.
There is a Tesco’s convenience store, Bannatyne’s Gym and new Spa, dry cleaners and Eden hair salon along with Fairfield Park Cricket & Bowls Club. There are many secure play parks for children along with speed restricted roads for family safety. Our favourite part about living here is the street food pop ups.
Local life around the village
With easy access to the A1 and M1 you are never far away from the bigger towns and cities such as Cambridge or London (The fast train to London is 28 minutes from Letchworth, or 22 minutes from Stevenage). London Stansted circa 40mins drive, London Luton Airport circa 20mins drive
Hitchin is the market town you want to hit up. Centered around the market place, it is alive with the thrum of independent businesses. Salon Bon Bon, Chia Naturally Healthy, Hermitage Road bar, The Fox at Willian, and The Farmhouse at Redcoats are just a few top spots to try out in the town.
