The leafiest part of Birmingham

Ranked the sixth hottest property hotspot in the UK, this pretty and well connected suburb of Birmingham is adorned with green spaces. The River Cole has a major part to play, thanks to the Shire Country Park which runs through Hall Green. It’s a great place to walk the dogs, bring a picnic and wildlife watch.

Other notable places include Trittiford Mill Park and Sarehole Mill (fun fact: JRR Tolkien imagined places like Middle-Earth and Rivendell in The Lord of the Rings saga from visiting). Nearby golf courses include Moseley and Robin Hood Golf Clubs, as well as Fox Hollies Sports Centre which has football pitches, a running track, gym, squash courts and swimming pool also can take your fancy in terms of after school or weekend activity.

The perfect place to call home

Transport to/from Birmingham centre from this area couldn’t be easier. Bus stops galore take you within half an hour and the train in about 20 minutes to Moor Street Station.

“But what about the schools?” we hear you ask. Well, Hall Green Junior School and Hall Green Infants are the chosen schools in this area. With excellent facilities, Hall Green Secondary is and due to Hall Green Train Station being only 5 minutes walk away, it’s in catchment for Birmingham University School as well.
