THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Knowle is a village close to the border of West Midlands and Warwickshire that is considered one of the most attractive and desirable in the Midlands. It has a busy, yet quaint high street, a junior and secondary school and a range of other services.
It is just two miles from Solihull, voted “best place to live in the UK” which provides a plethora of additional amenities. It is also close to the city of Birmingham, home to a fabulous array of leisure, dining and shopping options.
Knowle Village and its surrounding countryside is charming and well worth venturing into.
You can enjoy a stroll National Trust sites around Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton, or a day walking along the canals topped off with a well-deserved lunch in one of the many nearby cosy pubs.
EATING
Locally you’ll be spoilt for choice. Hampton Manor, Restaurant with Rooms, which is home to the Michelin Star, four AA rosette restaurant, Peel’s, is a short drive away. With a menu taking in seasonal, hand crafted, and local products and produce you’ll experience single-batch teas from artisan growers, biodynamic wines and ingredients foraged from their very own kitchen garden.
The Bread Collection; an artisan bakery and pizzeria, The Boot in Lapworth and The Orange Tree in Chadwick End are also solid choices for foodies with an appetite.
It’s also worth noting that Birmingham has more Michelin starred restaurants than anywhere else in the UK outside of London, these include Carters in Moseley, Simpsons in Edgbaston or Purnell’s in the city centre.
SHOPPING
Solihull is five minutes from Knowle where you’ll find John Lewis, independent boutiques, Farrow & Ball and a Range Rover showroom in Solihull which is five minutes away. The Mailbox, Selfridges and the Bullring in Birmingham are not far away for those looking for a serious retail fix.

EDUCATION
Education is of the highest standards in the area. The private options include Solihull
School, which is a leading co-educational senior school, St Martins is an outstanding girls school and there are several preparatory schools including Eversfield and Ruckleigh School.
The state education in and around Knowle is highly regarded, with discerning parents
desperate for places at Arden School.
WELL-BEING
Knowle is surrounded by many well-regarded golf clubs, including The Forest of Arden and The Belfry, host to more Ryder Cup matches than any other venue in the world and features within the top 100 courses in the UK.
Hampton in Arden Sports Club, Virgin Active, David Lloyd and several boutique personal trainers are on hand to keep you in shape along with a pilates studio in the village.
Knowle & Dorridge Tennis Club is the place to be seen in pristine whites and there are plenty of rugby clubs, football teams and running groups to join.
