Kilbirnie is the ideal location for people who would like to have that in the country feel but also offering the convenience of Glasgow less than 30 minutes away. The local area boasts a plethora of activities all within easy reach. If you want to learn to sail, canoe or paddle board at Castle Semple Country Park or cycle around the many on and off-road cycle tracks. If you prefer the train station to Glasgow is a 15 minute walk and you can be in the heart of the city within 25 minutes.

The newly built Garnock Community Campus providing Early Years, Primary and Secondary education serves Kilbirnie, with St . Bridget’s primary situated in the town of Kilbirnie. The Boatyard in nearby Kilwinning is a local favourite, whether you are sitting overlooking the loch on the outside terrace or a cosy drink inside, it is a year round pleasure. The main line train direct to Glasgow (25 minute), Paisley (15 Minutes) or Ayr 30 minutes means you can be in the city or in the beach within 30 minutes. There is also a local bus service between the neighbouring towns as well as a bus to Glasgow City Centre. Glasgow International Airport is less than 20 minutes drive or by train link.
