Lane End

Lane End

Well connected

Lane End is one of Buckinghamshire’s loveliest villages, surrounded by the rolling Chiltern Hills – an Area of Natural Beauty – offering picturesque landscapes within a rural setting. Despite its countryside location, it’s still really well connected. Well-heeled Marlow is around 4 miles away, with its bustling High Street of boutique shops and Michelin-starred restaurants.

High Wycombe is where you’ll find all the well-known stores, and its train station provides good links to London and the rest of the railway network. Although it’s hiking and cycling heaven with the beautiful woodlands, hills and scenic trails, the M40 is also close by.

Friendly community

In the village itself, there’s a range of amenities including a convenience store for household essentials, church, post office and local shops. Stop off at the Grouse and Ale after a Sunday walk for good food and drink, where even four legged friends are catered for with treats and fresh water bowls.

A close-knit community feel exudes from the village. Lane End plays host to a variety of community events and activities throughout the year, and the Village Hall is at the hub of life here.

When it comes to the little ones, Lane End Primary School is in the village, and there’s a good choice of secondary options in Marlow and the vicinity, including grammar schools.
