We love the village feel

Home Farm sits proudly in the sought-after, picturesque village of Lighthorne in Warwickshire. Located just off the Fosse Way in the district of Stratford upon Avon, it’s close to the amenities of Moreton Morrell, Kineton and Wellesbourne, and the market town of Warwick, as well as Royal Leamington Spa. It’s also conveniently located for Jaguar Land Rover’s Gaydon site and Aston Martin (walkable, in fact, down a country lane), and is in easy reach of the M40 and motorway network.

For a small village, there’s plenty going on! You’ll find a post office in the Village Hall and the quaint 13th century parish church of St Lawrence is rather special. The Antelope Inn is the quintessential village pub. Dating back to the early 18th century, warm yourself by the real log fire under exposed beams and enjoy a delicious Sunday roast, before walking it off with your four-legged friends on one of the many countryside walks close by.

Meanwhile, the wood cabin perched at the side of the cricket pitch is home to Ben’s Pavilion Café. Breakfasts and afternoon teas are particularly popular, and the homemade coffee and walnut cake is definitely worth the calories.

Local life

Schools are well catered for, with Lighthorne Heath Primary School in short walking distance, whilst Harbury CofE Primary School and Kineton High School are around three miles away. There’s also an excellent range of grammar and independent schools in the vicinity.

Spend a day at the British Motor Museum close by or Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park. Or perhaps take a leisurely cruise down the River Avon in Stratford. Whilst you’re there, enjoy dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, or kick back and relax with casual dining in a gastro pub. Meanwhile, culture vultures will simply adore the RSC.
