The West Leicestershire village of Newbold Verdon is extremely popular and it’s easy to see why. There’s a fantastic array of amenities, including a doctor’s surgery, church, village co-op and Sophie’s Tea and Coffee Co.

Newbold Verdon Primary School, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted lies in the village itself, and Bosworth Academy, a secondary school in the neighbouring village of Desford, is rated ‘Outstanding’.

Well connected

To the west lies the historic market town of Market Bosworth, where you’ll find a fabulous range of shops and eateries, overlooking the marketplace.

Newbold Verdon is well located for Leicester and accessing the M69, M1, and M42 motorways, opening up Nuneaton, Derby, Nottingham, Coventry, Birmingham and beyond. Hinckley train station is your gateway to the rail network, and East Midlands Airport is around 13 miles away.

The nearby Bulls Head showcases fantastic local produce and is the place to be for Sunday lunch with all the trimmings, followed by sticky toffee pudding. And, when you fancy stretching your legs, there are more country walks on your doorstep than you can shake a stick at!
