A perfect English village
Parkwood is located on Rag Hill Road, on the outskirts of the popular and pretty village of Tatsfield. The quaint village is centred on the green and duck pond (could you get any more English!). Tatsfield Village is in the extreme east of Surrey, tucked up against its borders with Kent and with Greater London. It is nine miles south-east of Croydon and 18 miles south of central London. In the village centre there are a shop/Post Office, a florist, a pub, a restaurant, a garage, the Tatsfield Club and the W.I. Hall.
There are some great hotspots our favourites being the Bakery Restaurant and our favourite Indian restaurant Shampan, which serves up some delicious cocktails. Ye Old Ship public house does a cracking pint and the village stores keeps you stocked up on basics and goodies when you haven’t had a chance to get to Waitrose (although it is only 3 miles away so you have no excuse).
Tatsfield also has a sought-after primary school so get your name down soon for a September start.
Idyllic & postcard pretty
More extensive facilities are at nearby Westerham (3 miles), Biggin Hill (1.8 miles), Oxted (4.5 miles) and Warlingham (6.5 miles) and Sevenoaks (8.5 miles) providing a range of shops, restaurants and other amenities. There are mainline railway stations at Oxted and Woldingham and the M25 motorway is accessible at Junction 5 at Sevenoaks or Junction 6 at Godstone.
