Penge

Penge

A hidden gem...

If you asked a local what they think about Penge, it’ll more often than not be: “A great local community vibe with plenty of green space.” And we couldn’t agree more.

Just a short trip to central London sits this quiet London suburb adorned with an even mix of Victorian and 1930’s architecture. Beckenham Place Mansion is a masterpiece too. Crystal Place Park is a lovely spot to relax in the day. Sydenham woods is a secret spot we also recommend visiting, and what’s better than chasing it up with a lovely pint in The Woodhouse (top tip: get the cosy seat by the fire).

Close to all the action of Crystal Palace.

You’re super connected; Birkback station is at the bottom of the road and goes direct to London Bridge, or you can hope on to the East London Line at Anerley Station taking you straight to Shoreditch.

You don’t need to go afar to get everything you need. Head to Crystal Place Market for grab all the essentials. Or head to Crystal Place Triangle for a great selection of indie shops and antique stores. If you’re in the market for something a little more ‘fancy’ then Joanna’s Crystal Place is in the Top 5 Restaurants in South London…you don’t need us to tell you to visit.
