St Leonards

St Leonards

A lovely seaside town

St Leonards is a popular (with us and others) seaside town known for it’s Regency architecture. If the sea breeze isn’t enough to sway you, then we should probably mention it’s super well connected. We’d recommend heading to the Marina as it’s arguably one of England’s most beautiful sea fronts, and we can see why. Crystal clear water, the sound of the seagulls…it feels like home. The town centre offers a fantastic range of shops, restaurants including La Bella Vista Italian restaurant (should be top on your list) cafes and bars. The Harrow Inn is a lovely and friendly family run pub that is a short walk away, built in 1808 offering traditional ales and fine dining. Other nearby beaches include Fairlight, Hastings and Bexhill – enjoy those family days out.

By the sea and lush, what more would you want?

Fancy a trip to see the London lights? Trains from St Leonards station to London Bridge and Charing Cross swing you there in about ninety minutes…which is ideal (think of the coffees and morning peace and quiet to catch up on emails or your Netflix series). You can drop the kids off at school confident they’ll have a great day. There are many excellent schools nearby including Claremont Prep School and Christ Church Church of England Primary and Nursery Academy. Life is good in St Leonards!
