“We are looking for a family home in a semi-rural location”. If we had a pound for every time someone called us and said this, Mrs Clarke would be sitting on a deckchair with her Jimmy Choos up. We understand this aspiration, the idea of a large house, on a quiet lane, surrounded by the beautiful British countryside but close enough to a Costa Coffee and a motorway is the modern family’s idea of perfection. Well, Tanners Green Lane is the holy (semi-rural) grail. You are tucked away in a lovely part of the West Midlands where people stop to say “hi” on the morning dog walk and you can be in Solihull in ten minutes.
Idyllic & postcard pretty
Middlefield is tucked away at the end of a little track with no passing traffic. You overlook the first fairway of Fulford Heath Golf Course to the front and open fields fringed with oak trees at the rear. Even people who have lived in the area all their lives don’t know Middlefield is here!
Despite the seclusion and rural setting you are conveniently located in easy reach of Birmingham, Solihull and motorway networks, without the noise and traffic pollution. In latter years we have done lots of travelling and Middlefield has been a fantastic base, with easy motorway links to airports in Birmingham, Bristol, London, East Midlands and Manchester.
