Wargrave & Henley-on-Thames

Post card pretty

If you haven’t heard of Wargrave before then let’s explore. It’s nestled on the bank of the Thames and 4 miles from Henley-on-Thames. You will also fall in love with the nearby historic riverside towns of Sonning and Marlow and delight in their annual regattas and festivals.

When you’re strolling around, you’ll notice there’s a real mixture of architecture; from picture postcard thatched cottages, sprawling contemporary mansions and everything in between.

After a morning of exploration, we’d definitely recommend a trip to Stanlake Park. Wine and nature – what a combo! If you love being near the water then you’ll be pleased to know Val Wyatt Marine is at the end of the road.

Quiet & historic

You have plenty of places to explore on your doorstep like Greys Court, a gorgeous National Trust manor & gardens. Val Wyatt Marine is at the end of the road where you can stop off at Cwtch for a donut and coffee.
