Mr and Mrs Clarke is a perfect partnership for me. It is an estate agency that champions everything I believe in and hold dear – home. Having worked in advertising for lifestyle and property brands, among the many challenges I particularly enjoyed defining “what makes a house a home?”
I love Birmingham. This is not a throw away line – I genuinely love this city, it’s why I keep coming back! Having grown up in the West Midlands, Birmingham is my adopted city. I have lived and worked overseas for more than 10 years, most recently returning from Singapore and it’s great to have come full circle. I can honestly say it’s a wonderful place to call home. With its history, people and parks, which are awesome for family walks with or without your dog – for dog lovers who’ve been to Singapore, you’ll empathise – to the bustling atmosphere of the artisan stores, cafes and eateries in Moseley, Stirchley and Cotteridge. Birmingham’s wards offer a unique slice of life and the perfect place to live. Not forgetting the Botanical Gardens in nearby Edgbaston and the wonderful urban village of Harborne, just a hop and step from the City centre; and you’re never too far from getting incredible curry from the world famous Balti Triangle!
You will often see me riding my bike around town; bumping into people and having a chat, pottering around the local shops and cafes, sampling the latest IPA from an indy microbrewery, while spending time with the people I love.
I have been fortunate to have lived and worked in many places; meaning I’ve moved a lot! As a family, we have learned what makes a house, or an apartment, feel like home! For us, it’s as much about the place, the surroundings and the people we coexist with. So whether you’re from here or moving to Birmingham, I feel perfectly placed to help clients and buyers move on, up and forwards in this beautiful part of the world.
