The Fields Manor spent years in a dilapidated state before property developers painstakingly refurbished the property. The property was first built in about 1850 on the site of an original farmhouse. Then known as “The Fields”, the house as it stands today was completed in about 1870. The towering manor was so hauntingly beautiful it featured in a 2007 episode of Doctor Who, entitled Blink, where it was invaded by the “Weeping Angels”.
