Mr Clarke thinks :
The potential is great.
This two bedroom detached house sits in a fantastic village location and is screaming out for a stylish new owner to come and create a beautiful home.
The potential is endless and with some hard graft from a good builder, this house could be transformed into a 3/4 bedroom home with all the mod cons. The bones are good, the internal space is great and the garden just needs some a trim and landscaping. We think that there could easily be a large extension at the rear of the property, which would add both value and space.
Mrs Clarke loves :
It's calming and it's light.
Currently the property is split into a living room and kitchen downstairs, and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
The garden is large enough to cope with an extension being built into it and you would still be left with a great outside space.
There is also a garage.
- Three words : Space. Potential. Setting.
Our favourite part
The picturesque surroundings.
Rhiwderin, nr Newport
Close to the city
This great little village on the outskirts of Newport is the perfect mix of countryside and accessibility. There is a friendly community and lots going on for the whole family.
Sitting pretty on the edge of Newport, and not to far from Machen you can nipping into Morrisons in Rogerstone in minutes or enjoying a pint at The Rhiwderin Inn. Phil, Angelina have just taken over the pub in December and their vision is to keep everything that ‘The Inn’ is loved for, namely good homemade food, a warm welcome and a cosy local. We salute you guys.
We love the village of Rudry and love strolling around the leafy lanes. If we need fresh air then we head to Bassaleg for a dog walk and soak up the rolling countryside.
Bassaleg school is one of the best in the area and Pentrepoeth Primary is 5 star too.
Pretty and well connected
- Pubs: The Ruperra down the road is known for its fab food.
