This 5 bedroom detached house located in Afon Village, Rogerstone is a stunning property that offers spacious and luxurious living. The property boasts five generous bedrooms, each with ample storage space, and a stylishly designed open plan living area, perfect for modern family living.

The house features high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout, with attention to detail evident in every aspect of the design. With a large garden and private driveway, this property is an ideal family home in a sought-after location. Many wonderful memories have been created at Broom Close over the last two decades where the existing family have happily lived and raised children, and new memories are ready to be made by its new owners.

The kitchen really is the heart of the home; large enough to fit a table and sofa, yet still retaining a personal, intimate feel. It's a space simply made to cook and entertain. There's also a range of integrated appliances from a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and hob that will please the keenest of home chefs.

The generous lounge seamlessly opens up through double doors to the dining room, or for larger families, you can just close the doors and have yourself a second reception room if desired. Nestled between the kitchen and dining room, a dedicated office awaits - a sanctuary for you to immerse yourself in your work, free from distractions. And with gigabit fibre connections in every room, you can effortlessly navigate through the demands of both work and life.

Upstairs, the bedrooms are all fitted with double wardrobes, and the fifth room is of generous proportions rather than the typical 'box room' we tend to see in homes these days!

The large garden is mature and well established. A stunning summer house was fitted by the current owners a couple of years ago, making a wonderful spot to relax with your favourite playlist and a good book.

On those days where you need to hit the road, rest assured that the M4 is a mere 5 minute drive away, beckoning you to your destination. If public transport is more your style, the station is just a hop, skip and a jump away, inviting you to take a leisurely 2 minute stroll to your train.

Rogerstone

An up and coming area...

Rogerstone

Sitting on the outskirts of Newport, but close by to Bristol and Cardiff, is Rogerstone. Home to the award-winning Welsh brewery Tiny Rebel, which was conjured up by two brothers in their dads garage, this place is forever becoming more exciting.

The area is home to the gorgeous Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, which is an idyllic place to mooch around on foot or wheels – time stands still and history overwhelms. The locks have been restored and the Café at the visitor centre is a popular point to congregate and natter over a latte.

Rogerstone is perfect for families as it’s home to a selection of great primary schools. It’s not uncommon for people move to the area just for this reason, especially Bassaleg High School. Catchment plays a big role in whether your child can attend the school, and with education being a high priority for many of our buyers. Mount Pleasant Primary is another notable mention, which made the papers in 2014 when Barack Obama famously paid it a visit.

The area has two train stations, Rogerstone and Pye Corner, which both have lines that run to Cardiff.
