Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Brunton, The Willows at 36 Brunton is not just
a home; it's a sanctuary, thoughtfully designed to elevate every aspect of modern living.
From its tranquil setting to its meticulously crafted interiors, this bungalow embodies a
harmonious blend of comfort, style, and natural beauty.

As you approach along the gently sloping drive, bordered by verdant grass banks, The
Willows beckons with its understated elegance. A haven of privacy, it offers ample parking
for at least three cars, with further potential for garaging, discreetly shielded by mature hedging. Step through the threshold, and you are greeted by a sense of serenity that permeates every corner of this home.

Inside, the spacious open-plan living area unfolds, revealing a seamless fusion of
contemporary design and timeless charm. An exquisite example of modern architecture, with the Wren Kitchen at center stage, adorned with quartz work surfaces by Granitzone and equipped with state-of-the-art Neff and Bosch appliances, with a large separate utility room sitting off the kitchen. A dining area separates the kitchen from the garden room, which is bathed in natural light, cascading from the lantern above, which creates an inviting ambiance, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, which is accessed via fully opening bifold doors to the terrace.

Throughout the home, every detail speaks of quality and refinement. From the newly laid
Porcelanosa tiles to the sumptuous carpets underfoot, each element has been carefully
curated to evoke a sense of luxury and comfort. The separate living room offers a cozy
retreat, complete with a wall-mounted fire, a perfect spot for intimate gatherings or quiet
evenings by the hearth.

The sleeping quarters are equally impressive, comprising three generously proportioned
bedrooms, each exuding its own unique charm. The master suite, with its dual aspect and
private terrace overlooking the verdant landscape, epitomizes tranquility and relaxation. Adjoined by three fitted double wardrobes, it offers ample storage space without
compromising on style. A large study / hobby room could also be used as a fourth bedroom if required.

The indulgence continues in the bathrooms, where sleek modern fixtures meet timeless
elegance. The ensuite boasts a standalone bath and large separate shower, while the family
bathroom provides practicality and convenience with its well-appointed amenities.
Venture outside, and you will discover a garden oasis. Designed for both
relaxation and entertainment, the terrace beckons with its hot tub, BBQ area, and ample
seating, a perfect setting for alfresco dining or summer soirées. Beyond lies a sprawling
lawn enveloped by retaining sleepers and verdant shrubs, offering a sanctuary for both
people and wildlife alike.

Beyond its borders, Brunton offers a lifestyle rich in natural beauty and community spirit.
With its close proximity to esteemed schools, historic pubs, and scenic walking trails, it
provides the perfect backdrop for family life or a peaceful retreat from the bustle of city living.

Local life

Picturesque Marlborough is quite the quintessential English Market Town, nestled in the country of Wiltshire. Culture vultures will love to indulge in the Marlborough Literary Festival, Marlborough Open Studios arts event, The Marlborough College Concert Series and Marlborough Summer School.

The North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty encompass much of the countryside around Marlborough and provide an unspoilt backdrop to a range of pursuits. Try mountain biking on Salisbury Plain, flying at Clench Common and Canoeing on the Kennett and Avon Canal. The Unesco World Heritage Site of Avebury is also just five miles away. Meanwhile, The Ridgeway National Trail and Wansdyke are some of the very best walks in the country.

There’s a range of exceptional independent restaurants, some smaller chains such as Rick Stein’s for a taste of Cornwall, and larger, well-known Italian names for pizza and pasta like mama used to make.

The Guardian placed Marlborough in the top 10 of the country’s high streets for independent shops. On our must-visit list are Sumbler Butchers, White Horse Bookshop, The Merchant’s House, Kim Vine and Willow & Wolf for fashion. There’s also a vibrant café culture when you need a pit stop after all that mooching.

Hot on the heels of that accolade, The Sunday Times voted the town as one of the top places to live in the south west. You’ll find a Waitrose and Tesco nearby, or just book Ocado for some M&S treats. And when it’s someone else’s turn to cook, there’s always a tasty menu available at The Marlborough, The Royal Oak and The Oddfellows.

Schools are first-class. St John’s Secondary and Sixth Form Academy is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, as is Preshute Primary School. Meanwhile, Marlborough College and St Mary’s Calne and Dauntsey’s School are all exceptional independent schools, and boast some very famous alumni.

Transport links are great with the M4 within 9 miles and the A303 some 17 miles to the south. The spa town of Bath is around 25 miles. Trains from both Swindon and Pewsey whisk you directly into London in under 1.15hrs.
