Originally built by Redrow Homes, Handley Place offers a remarkable level of luxury and comfort within its walls and is sits just a stone's throw from the bustling High Street. The ground floor is a wonderfully designed space, split into large open-plan spaces and private intimate rooms. The front of the space is comprised of a bright, sunny living room, a downstairs WC and a handy under-stairs storage cupboard.
At the back of the ground floor is a stylish open plan kitchen with a dining space, perfect for modern family living. The kitchen comes complete with appliances from a fitted fridge freezer and double oven to a combination microwave and underfloor heating, perfect for keeping toes toasty. There is also a handy separate laundry room. Glass doors provide an effortless connection to the sunny South-West facing garden. There is plenty of storage space and everything has been carefully thought through so the rigours of modern life are catered for.
The stairs lead from the entrance hall to the bright and open first-floor landing. The main bedroom is comparable to a boutique hotel suite, with lots of storage and a spa like en-suite bathroom. Two further double bedrooms can be found on this level, along with a family bathroom and a third cosy bedroom that is currently set up as a home office.
There is parking for two cars on the driveway. The main garden is South-West facing and landscaped to provide several sections: a patio area for alfresco dining, a large lawn for children to play and dogs to run free, plus a well stocked flower border for the green fingered home hunter and a large shed, ideal for storing garden tools.
Proving that smaller homes can be just as big on style, the Ludlow is a place you'll be proud to call home.

We love the village feel
Within easy commuting distance of Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, Castle Donington offers all the shopping, sport and culture of the big city, while enjoying all the history and charm of a small town. Many independent shops and café’s line the main street and there’s a Farmer’s Market on the second Saturday of every month, great for sourcing local produce before spending the afternoon baking or cooking with the family! There’s even an annual May Bank Holiday Medieval Market that takes place in Borough Street and includes local stalls selling various goods accompanied by dancing and music.
Nearby Donington Park was the original venue for the Monsters of Rock festivals through the 1980s and 1990s, and is now the home of the annual Download Festival. It also hosted a The European Grand Prix in April 1993 and the circuit also hosts the Donington Grand Prix Collection, the world’s largest collection of Formula One and Grand Prix vehicles. We love a bit of history about the area here at Mr and Mrs Clarke!
Castle Donington is situated close to the M1/A50 inter-change and East Midlands Parkway Railway Station and is also home to East Midlands Airport. The superb road links to nearby rail mean that you can speed to the capital in under an hour and a half.
