When it’s sunny it feels like a Spanish villa. I’ll be outside every second of summer.
A magnificent six bedroom detached house sits in wonderful location, offering fabulous lifestyle for the discerning home hunter. This fabulous family home lies behind a private gated driveway on a leafy lined boulevard in a smart part of town.

Everything is modern. I can’t wait to get the keys and move straight in.
It stands proudly as a gorgeous six-bedroom home with lush gardens, a triple detached garage, an outdoor kitchen and terrace and a heated saltwater swimming pool. Inside and outside are just perfect for entertaining whatever the weather.Once you enter, you are welcomed by a light, spacious and happy ambiance. Downstairs, which is flooded with light and oozing style, you'll find three large reception rooms. The first is a large Sitting Room that feels like a boutique hotel. For a more formal dining experience, head into the Dining Room where the magnificent high ceilings, and front garden views poses a great backdrop for a dinner party. The downstairs cloakroom is next door which is super handy for hanging guests coats. The Family Room is next, which has lots of possibilities; it could be a formal sitting room with sofas focused on the warming fire, or maybe a library and study, a separate dining room or a playroom. Whatever you decide, you can throw the doors open and head outside for a spot of sun either way.
Leading off from here is the beautiful kitchen, hosting a central island where everyone naturally congregates. The Linda Barker inspired designer kitchen has Corian worktops and all the appliances you'd ever need - there's even space to keep your wine cool. Practicality and aesthetics meet. Linked is the utility - it hosts a tall pantry if you need even more storage, a washing machine and boiler. The full height bi-fold doors open out to the south-facing granite terrace, outdoor kitchen and poolside, creating the in-out lifestyle that we all dream of.
Out to the lawn that is lined with skyrockets and olive trees leads you to the 8 x 4-metre swimming pool is filled with heated saltwater. There's a swim jet just right for perfecting your front crawl and easy entrance steps so all guests will want a dip! Whenever people get peckish, just wander behind the bar in the outdoor kitchen, start up the hot plate and serve up a steak or two.
Back inside and head up the magnificent stairs. You'll find that each of the 6 bedrooms is each as jaw-dropping as the next. The main bedroom is very Elle Decoration - with large bay windows to watch the world go by, a luxe dressing room and even has an ensuite shower room you'll never want to be without. If you want a relaxing soak, then the family bathroom is a thing of bathing heaven. You have a massive bath with a colour tv in the wall, so you can catch up on all of your box sets with a glass of bubbly in hand. Every detail is perfect with twin sinks and a rain shower. 2 of the other bedrooms have ensuites, so there won't be any arguments over who gets which room that's for sure. With it's tasteful decor throughout, this home is easy to fall in love with as soon as you step foot in it. It is a lovely oasis near town to curl up on a wet autumn evening or lie in on a lazy Sunday morning (if the kids allow!).

Fields Park
Quiet idyll of rural bliss
Sitting proudly above Newport, Fields Park Residences is a luxury development of four bespoke homes. The developer, builders, craftsmen, artisans, interior designers and planners have worked together to create the finest address in the city. The gated development is set back off Fields Park Road and has a private atmosphere.
Fields Park is a beautiful area tucked away on the east side of the city. Tranquil surrounds, tree lined roads, exquisite architecture and good looking homes set the tone. The area has great views over the land towards the severn estuary and countryside. On a summer’s day skip to the park with the pooch and visit Tredegar which is just down the road, or if you’re fancying a day trip with the little ones then you’re close enough to the motorway so it’s no bother at all. You’re so close to the local connections that almost anything is possible!
On a sunny afternoon we recommend heading to The Cafe at Ridgeway to have a latte and a natter with friends or a picnic on the grass which is incredibly popular right now. We haven’t mentioned the pub yet, best we had. Mr and Mrs Clarkes’ favourite is the Ridgeway, pop in and have a chat with Mr Musto who with the team make the best chips. He’ll be back open soon and sure he will continue with the their infamous steak nights, heaven!! We will definitely be popping in. For other occasions head over to the Celtic Manor resort where the food choices are many and the ambiance is just perfect.
Within 10 minutes you have walked to the station and be on train into Cardiff, Bristol or London. If the car is more your mode then the M4 is just 2 mins away where you can be in London in just 2 hours.
Well connected and lovely community
- Stores: There's some quirky cafés, bars and restaurants, artisan bakeries and independent stores.
- Pubs: Ridgeway. Hats off to Mr Musto who’s done a cracking job on turning this place to be the place to be.
- Walks: Jews Woods or The Ridgeway is a lovely spot for a dog walk.
