Mike thinks:
The quality of the finish throughout is stunning. Everything has been thoughtfully designed and expertly created, it's pure luxury.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the sought after area of Caerleon, this recently renovated 3-bedroom family home sits on a substantial plot and offers bags of space inside and out, ideal for large and extended modern living.

Mike loves:
The tiered garden is incredible with separate areas for kids to play, and grown up spaces perfect for entertaining and dining al-fresco

Beautifully modernised in recent years, Fairfield Road also benefits from landscaped tiered gardens, a stunning high spec finish throughout the home that complements the contemporary style, and fabulous views across the pretty village and river.

Head down the bright and airy hallway and into the impressive open-plan designer kitchen and dining space to the rear that has incredible lighting thanks to the modern LED spot lights. Featuring stunning quartz counter tops and a stylish breakfast bar, this spectacular room is the true hub of the home. It’s a foodie’s dream with a large NEFF induction hob, a NEFF oven and integrated appliances, and there is plenty of storage with large cupboards. Light floods into the space from the grand dual aspect double windows that feature newly installed wooden Venetian blinds. The kitchen connects to the generously sized utility room that has space for a washing machine and tumble dryer and features an extra sink and additional worktop space and custom built pantry with further storage. The stunning flooring and skirting (on both floors) are also crafted from quartz, complementing the beautiful counter tops and lending a sense of effortless style to the space.

To the front of the home sits a contemporary and spacious sitting room that flows effortlessly from the dining room. The modern colour palette and large opening windows help the space feel wonderfully bright and airy. The beautiful tiled quartz fireplace is a true focal point in the space and the convenient storage unit to the side helps store away unsightly bits and bobs.

On this floor, there is also a large family bathroom that forms part of the extension and features a bath with built-in shower and luxurious spot lights.

Upstairs, there are three spacious bedrooms, the second of which has stunning views over Caerleon village, Christchurch and the river. The main bedroom features custom built floor-to-ceiling wardrobes ready to be painted to your taste as well as a custom fitted mirror. The room is large enough to accommodate a king sized bed with plenty of space either side and has a wonderfully contemporary feel from the modern spot lights throughout. The second bedroom is currently set up as a nursery and the third is being used as a home office, but both rooms have the versatility to be used as bedrooms, yoga rooms, or work spaces to suit your lifestyle. Also on this floor is the second bathroom that benefits from modern white tiles from floor to ceiling with a large double shower, feature lighting and grey slate tiled flooring.

To the front of the home, there is a large front lawn distancing the house from the road and room for 3/4 vehicles on the spacious driveway. There is also a small patio area to the front and a power for a potential EV charger. To the rear of the home, the incredible sunny south-facing garden has been recently landscaped with Indian sandstone patio and wall coping stones, with steps leading into two spacious tiered spaces. The fully enclosed lawns are perfect for kids and dogs to run free, with plenty of space for a sitting area, shed and children's play area.

Caerleon

Historic vibes with a modern twist

Caerleon

The historic Roman village of Caerleon is a highly sought-after place to live, not only due to its rich heritage but also for its fantastic range of amenities and great road links to the M4 (just a couple of miles away), Usk and Cwmbran. Many believe it to be the location of King Arthur’s Camelot.

Nowadays it’s a thriving town, where past and present combine. There’s a real artsy vibe with the Ffwrwm Arts & Crafts Centre and statues around the historical centre. Just on the outskirts of Newport, on the River Usk, there’s a wonderful community here. There are so many lovely places to eat to choose from, but the Priory Hotel and the 15th century Ye Olde Bull inn, and The Snug and the Red Fort restaurant are firm favourites.

There are four schools in Caerleon – Caerleon Lodge Hill Junior School, Caerleon Endowed School, Charles Williams Church in Wales Primary School, and Caerleon Comprehensive School. And, being located just a stone’s throw away from the Celtic Manor Resort, there’s plenty to see and do at the world famous five-star luxury retreat, including golf, the Forest Jump tree top course, or spend time luxuriating in the spa.

Pretty and well connected
