Edd thinks:
The flow of this home is perfect for family life and the attention to detail is second to none

Beautifully maintained by its current owners, this gorgeous three-bedroom family home has been thoughtfully designed for the rigours of modern life.

Edd loves:
The proximity to the park. I can picture bundling up on an Autumn morning for a crisp walk before heading home to enjoy a coffee at the breakfast bar

Combining practicality with effortless style, Fetherston Crescent couldn’t be better positioned if it tried, with an expansive lush green park and playing fields right on the doorstep (literally). Park on the paved double driveway before heading through the pretty entrance to find a handy entryway area with plenty of space to drop off coats and kick off shoes. There’s also a stylish downstairs WC just to the left featuring a porthole window that adds a touch of charm to the space. Through the clear panel door, you’re instantly hit with the sense of space this gorgeous home has to offer.

Designed with busy family life in mind, the living area effortlessly connects to the dining space and sleek kitchen in a L-shaped configuration. To the right, there’s a light-filled room that is currently set up as a kids playroom overlooking the beautiful park, although flexibility knows no bounds here and this space could easily be set up as a cosy snug to binge watch your favourite series, or a stylish home office.

The show-stopping open-plan living/dining/kitchen space is the real hub of the home. Kids can lounge on the sofa while dinner is cooking away and all the family can gather here to catch up on the day. Stunning teal paint adorns the walls adding warmth to the room, and the addition of a feature log burner makes this space feel super cosy. There’s enough room for a large family dining table and the double French doors effortlessly connect to the garden making indoor-outdoor living a breeze. Over in the kitchen, the formidable rangemaster takes centre stage with its 6 ring hob and 2 ovens that makes cooking and entertaining a joy, along with the granite worktops and a large American style fridge-freezer.

The storage in this stunning open-plan space is second to none, with the cupboard under the stairs even housing a tumble dryer and boiler, tucking them neatly away out of sight.

Upstairs, there are three bright and airy bedrooms all filled with natural light thanks to the expansive windows in every room. To the front of the home is a generous single, and a large king sized room, both with beautiful views across the park. The landing itself features handy storage units under the top of the stairs to neatly store away household bits and bobs. The main bedroom sits towards the rear of the home, with a large built in wardrobe and views over the pretty rear garden. Just next door is the gorgeous family bathroom, with a luxurious roll top bath that gives us serious hotel vibes, along with a large double shower and floor to ceiling tiles.

The rear garden has been lovingly designed into two main sections; a wonderful patio area where we can imagine placing sumptuous outdoor sofas and a large Barbecue, and the other an immaculate lawn area where kids and dogs can run free. The beautiful park sits directly in front of the house, with an array of footpath routes perfect for Sunday morning dog walks, as well as a kids play area that the children will adore. The addition of solar panels help reduce energy costs, and the current owners have also added new windows, a new shed and patio, and beautifully converted the garage into its current form as a playroom.

Fetherston Crescent offers a taste of peaceful living, with its great walks and stunning views, while sitting just a stone’s throw from all the action. With two country pubs in the village and its own Co-op mini supermarket, we couldn’t think of a lovelier place to call home.
