Light, bright and finished to an immaculate standard, stepping into Gear Park Avenue is like walking through the pages of The White Company’s For The Love of White coffee table book. Boasting a beautifully designed open-plan living dining room, crisp white kitchen, three spacious bedrooms and a sun drenched garden, this is a wonderful place to call home.
Entering the home, you’ll find the spacious open-plan living dining room, where entertaining and relaxing can occur simultaneously. A large bay window helps flood the space with natural sunlight, while a large ornate fireplace adds a characterful touch amongst the modern design. Large French doors sit towards the rear of the home, leading out onto the beautifully landscaped garden, blurring the lines between indoor-outdoor living.
The immaculate galley style kitchen is fitted with all the mod-cons you’d expect, with integrated appliances and under cupboard lighting helping the space feel bright and airy. The pretty south-facing garden can be accessed from here too, perfect for entertaining in the summer months and dining al-fresco.
Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms allow plenty of space to accommodate family and guests. The main bedroom is complete with fitted blinds and brand new flooring and benefits from incredible views over Twmbarlum Mountain. Bedroom two offers pretty views of the rear garden, while the third features handy built in storage and has the potential to make a wonderful home office with sublime views.
A newly fitted family bathroom also sits on this floor, with a shower over bath, chrome heated towel rail and beautiful grey herringbone tiles.
The current owners have beautifully landscaped the outdoor space, with two patio areas and a large lawned area. Boasting the sun all day long, we can already picture the summer barbecues and evening drinks here with family and friends.

Close to the city
This great little village on the outskirts of Newport is the perfect mix of countryside and accessibility. There is a friendly community and lots going on for the whole family.
Sitting pretty on the edge of Newport, and not to far from Machen you can nipping into Morrisons in Rogerstone in minutes or enjoying a pint at The Rhiwderin Inn. Phil, Angelina have just taken over the pub in December and their vision is to keep everything that ‘The Inn’ is loved for, namely good homemade food, a warm welcome and a cosy local. We salute you guys.
We love the village of Rudry and love strolling around the leafy lanes. If we need fresh air then we head to Bassaleg for a dog walk and soak up the rolling countryside. Stop off at the stylish restaurant Junction 28 in a former railway station with a Modern British menu, plus Welsh cheeses. Heaven!
Bassaleg school is one of the best in the area and Pentrepoeth Primary is 5 star too.
