Mr and Mrs Clarke thinks:
The stylish interior has been renovated to an exacting standard with a high quality finish throughout and impeccable attention to detail.

Exuding style and class, Gresley Drive has both in equal measures. This absolutely beautiful four bedroomed home, just a stone’s throw from the centre of Stamford, is quite the head-turner.

Mr and Mrs Clarke loves:
Commuting is a breeze with the enviable proximity to historic Stamford and its station.

Recently renovated to an exacting standard, it offers oodles of space and a layout that works for the busiest of households. With an oh-so-dreamy colour palette throughout and top-notch interior, every detail has been carefully curated, from the luxury flooring to the stylish doors, and crisp white shutters which diffuse the light.

The newly fitted shaker kitchen has a natural stone hue, with white granite worktops that are simply stunning. A formidable range of integrated appliances and farmhouse-style stove make cooking and entertaining a joy, whilst the double pantry cupboard ensures surfaces are kept uncluttered and sleek. Catch up with friends over a coffee at the breakfast bar, or a glass of something chilled in the evening. The separate dining room, meanwhile, with its large bay window, is perfect for family suppers and special occasions alike.

A ‘must have’ for any busy family or pet owner, the utility room is super smart, with stylish fixtures and fittings set off by white subway tiles. There’s a handy downstairs WC, and a home office, full of natural light. You can also work out in the comfort of your own home as the garage is currently converted into a well-equipped gym, with the flexibility to house a car or be used for additional storage, if desired.

Just off the kitchen, through double glass doors, the living room beckons. With a bay window adding further to the space and sense of airiness, you’ll want to sink into the sofa and just soak up the ambience or latest box sets. Get warm and cosy in front of the feature fireplace with a mug of steaming hot chocolate whenever it’s chilly outside. Another set of double doors lead to the courtyard, seamlessly blending the outside and the in.

Upstairs, you’ll find sumptuous carpet to sink your toes into, and four double bedrooms. The master bedroom radiates design flair and boasts dual aspect windows. Its en suite bathroom is newly fitted and modern, with a sizeable walk-in rainfall shower, and chic pale grey tiles with contrasting tiled floor. The three additional bedrooms, meanwhile, are all spacious and filled with light.

A gorgeous freestanding bath with floor mounted taps demands attention in the generous family bathroom. Bubbles, anyone? If you can bear not to bathe every once in a while, there’s also an impressive walk-in rainfall shower. The contemporary white bathroom suite completes the look.

Outside, the pretty, paved garden offers a perfect spot to enjoy a little time al fresco, and is low maintenance, planted with trees and shrubs, mirroring the front. It’s a mere hop, skip and a jump to the station for any commuters, and a lovely house to call home.

Local Life in Lovely Stamford

Voted one of the top 5 locations to live in the UK, the Georgian town of Stamford can afford to boast about its beauty and culture. Romantic, historic and incredibly desirable, the town offers so much in the way of heritage and with over 400 Grade I and II listed buildings, character and charm lies round every corner.
Within a short hop and step from each other are an abundance of independent and brand name shops, cool bars, fantastic array of restaurants and funky cafes. You have to check out Shekleton Wines (takeaway or sit in). If you like your tea served in a traditional tea pot with a sweet something on the side then the Crown Hotel is for you – even your well-behaved dog can expect a welcome treat! For those that enjoy a good Sunday roast the Bull & Swan serves delicious roast dinners and their traditional puddings are something to behold – they even have an outdoor cinema in the summer months! The best treat by far to start any celebration is a cocktail at the world-famous George Hotel. Whether you dine in the Garden Room or the main restaurant, the food, service and atmosphere is second to none.
There is the stunningly beautiful Burghley House and estate which holds many annual events such as the Burghley Horse Trials, Game Fair, and the extremely physically challenging “Rat Race”.

There are some fantastic schools for kiddly winks of all ages and private schooling is available in town at the renowned Stamford Endowed Schools.
Commuting couldn’t be easier, it’s a short walk to the towns very traditional Railway Station which provides access to all local and national rail services. London, amazingly is only 55 mins by train and 1 ½ hours in the car (well assuming no roadworks on the way!), the A1 runs just to the west of the town, giving easy access to both north and south.
Stamford is surrounded by some breath-taking countryside and bringing an element of this to your door we have the Stamford Meadows which runs alongside the River Welland to help you blow off the cobwebs or to just enjoy a long Sunday ramble. Rutland Water, Europe’s largest man-made lake, is approximately 5 miles from town and offers an exciting day of water sports and facilities including fly-fishing and sailing.
