Mr Clarke thinks :
I can picture myself driving home, along the country lanes and feeling relaxed as I pull the car into Lanehouse Farm.
In the heart of the beautiful Weatheroak countryside sits this very special property. Surrounded by large private gardens, Lanehouse Farm is a wonderful place to call home.
The charming property is set in the heart of the countryside, creating a private and secluded feel. Park on the large drive and take in the scale and beauty of the gardens, the gorgeous view and the handsome property. When you have stopped dreaming of the garden parties and the children playing on the lawns come on inside.
Lanehouse Farm just makes you just relax. When you are through the front door you want to put the kettle on, and your feet up. There is an overriding feeling of returning home from the moment you are in.
The vast downstairs is divided into a variety of formal and informal rooms. The large, open plan kitchen is worthy of a TV chef. There is a dining area, kitchen and sitting room. It is a sociable room.
The formal sitting room is a wonderful space for relaxing or entertaining. There is lots of light from the windows and warmth from the open fire. If the family can’t agree what to watch on TV there is no need for an argument as the boys can head to the bar and watch what they want.
There is a utility room, WC, snug, storage and lovely nooks and crannies to sit and read. This is a sociable home with spaces to make your own. We love it.

Mrs Clarke says :
A beautiful home with space to entertain. I love it.
On the first floor you find three large bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms are more like hotel suites and the family bathroom is like a boutique spa. There is also an snug, which could be used as an office or dressing room, it also has a bathroom.
There are three further bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor. We think that this floor could be made into a large room for an older child or Granny.
The circa two acre garden has been lovingly tended and are packed with trees and shrubs. The views are wonderful, especially when you are sitting on the decking with a glass of wine and the kids are playing football on the lawn.
The three car garage is perfect for protecting the motor and storing the ride on mower.
- Style : The high life in the country.
- Lifestyle : The perfect family home.
- Three words : Stylish. Country. Manor
Our favourite part
The charm of the house, the size of the property and plot and the beautiful garden.
This city is not second best
Birmingham is hot right now. Businesses, small and very large, are flocking here, creative types are generating a buzz and independent shops, cafes and bars are on every corner. There are more Michelin stars than any other city outside of London and the mighty balti is brilliant. We Love Brum.
We also love a little fact so... Birmingham minister Joseph Priestley discovered oxygen in 1774. I suppose the city helping people breathe fresh clean air by having 571 parks totalling over 3,500 hectares of public open space (more than any other European city) and having the largest urban nature reserve in Europe is a pretty fitting tribute to the Mr Priestley. Ahhhh breathe!
Birmingham is enjoying a renaissance and it is easy to see why. There is a great feel to the city, employment is up, Grand Central Station is open and full of shoppers and commuters, the new Metro is nearly fully running and the place is alive with the sound of excitement. We Love Brum.
The Jewellery Quarter is surrounded by historic buildings harking back to an industrial age, there is a neighbourhood feel and a special atmosphere.
We love the Jewellery Quarter for its independent vibe and community feel.
The location of The Jewellery Quarter makes access to the CBD and City Centre quick and easy, with a short walk over the flyover (and a stop at Urban Coffee on Church Street). Conollys and Loki provide a plethora of wine selections and La Cuciana Rustica on Ludgate Hill just up the road serves the best Italian in town (in Mrs C's opinion).
The great thing about the area is that it is continuing to grow. The opportunities for businesses and homeowners to thrive is ever growing. The area is well connected for commuting, but also enables a work life balance.
"Birmingham has a great feel to it. There are loads of cool things to see and do, there is a vibrant community and the people are lovely. We Love Brum."
