Measham
Local life
A large village with a lovely community feel, Measham offers a thriving high street and sits just three miles away from the historic market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch, where you’ll find all the large stores, including Marks and Spencer.
The town has been awarded purple flag status in successive years. Located in Leicestershire in the East Midlands, Measham lies just south of the Derbyshire border and has great links to the M42 and A444. The major town of Burton upon Trent is just seven miles away, and the village sits around 100 miles north west of London.
Aside from the great outdoors, there’s a wide choice of things to do just a stone’s throw away by car, with a leisure centre, lido, cinema, and children’s playbarn close by. Also, kids will love Twycross Zoo just ten minutes away!
Measham has a primary school, a thriving high street with butchers, pharmacy, post office and florist, as well as the Bird in the Hand and The White Hart Inn, two of our favourite pubs.
