Connecting through to the kitchen dining area is like stepping back in time. The iroco wooden surfaces, Smeg range cooker, reclaimed butler sink and Istanbul tiles serving oodles of impact, with the main event, that Nocellara olive green kitchen creating art in this quirky hub. The dining area allows you to gather your favourite people for experimental cooking late into a summer’s evening, before heading out into the garden to lounge under that Hawthorn tree. Just imagine it.
Head upstairs and the two bedrooms sit, equally spaced, equally lovely with high ceilings and exposed wooden boards that have been left natural for the flooring. The main bathroom has been beautifully renovated with lava stone floor tiles and underfloor heating for those chillier winter months. The hustle and bustle at its best
To remember your location and bask in the glory of all that Hackney has to offer, just a few steps outside your door puts you en route to London Fields and Victoria Park. You’re close by to Well Street and Broadway Market. For the mini humans, there are an abundance of great schools, three of which have outstanding OFSTED ratings. Just five minutes walk to an overground station and only a couple more to Hackney Central, you’re in a great spot for connecting to central London but can also enjoy the quiet nature of this area, with a lovely quiet cycle route close by.
Hackney has one of the most diverse populations in the whole of England, and this fusion of cultures and cuisines, alongside it's signature ‘hipster’ status has resulted in the borough becoming London’s most exciting and eclectic place to eat and drink.
Let's start with food - the only place to start. Hackney is a food Mecca in our eyes. Morito is a classic, My Neighbours the Dumplings is as great as it's name, Sager + Wild is romantic and Bistroteque is an institution.
Saturday is the day to head to Broadway Market for a wander, some food (more food) and catch up with pals. If you are a market fan then Columbia Road, Brick Lane and the less well known Netil market are close.
It’s impossible to get bored in East London's Hackney and that is why we think it is one of the best places to live in the capital. Whether you are a family with kids or just a big kid, there’s plenty to keep you entertained.

- Supermarket: Broadway market is super. But there’s a 24 hour Tesco with parking near Hackney Central, a Marks & Spencer on Mare Street and a Lidl on Well Street.
