Ibstock is a large village with a great community spirit and sits just two and a half miles South of Coalville and approximately 6 miles South East of Ashby de la Zouch. A former coal mining town, Ibstock also has historical and current manufacturing plants that produce tiles, bricks, boots and shoes, and light engineering. This charming village has excellent road links to the A42 dual carriageway, with East Midlands conurbations beyond, Markfield, the M1 motorway corridor, or South west to the A444 linking with the A5 trunk Road.

Ibstock Village offers a wonderful range of local amenities and facilities including schooling, supermarkets, restaurants and community centre together with a sixth form college. On the doorstep, there is also access to the pretty National Forest and Sence Valley Park with footpaths and bridleways through to Jubilee Wood. Ibstock offers a wonderfully laid back way of life while still being well connected to the surrounding villages and cities.
