This wonderfully spacious home is tucked away on a quiet residential area in Cwmbran; Henllys. The light-filled interiors are calming and the large garden is a luxury that we all crave right now.
Pulling into the neat cul-de-sac, this home greets you almost immediately. Pull onto the drive or park in the double garages...unless you're using this space as extra storage space like most of us do. Of course, there's more space on the driveway, for the extra family cars. Open the door and the step into a welcoming hallway. It's quiet and comfortable here. Downstairs has a subtle twist on the traditional; the heart of the home comprises of a comfortable living area, a contemporary kitchen and utility, a smart dining space, a useful study and cloakroom.
Step through to the modern kitchen. There's no better place to try out new recipes whilst half watching the kids have a kick about in the garden. There is a separate utility which finishes off the area nicely, and is ideal for a busy family home. Eating indoors? Enjoy your creations in the separate dining room. In the summer months, you can throw open the patio doors in the living room and spill out onto the lush garden and eat al fresco. Moving through the seasons, the living room becomes the cosy room with its perfect fireplace to warm yourself in front of.
There's oodles of personality, as well as practical touches, and this home is waiting for you to pop your own personal decor, possessions and artwork up. Upstairs is a sanctuary. Four bedrooms and a gorgeous family bathroom can be found up here. The bedrooms are spacious so you can't go wrong when choosing which room is whose. The main bedroom is relaxing, which is complimented by the beautiful en-suite.
Back downstairs you can step out onto a patio ideal for the summer entertaining season. Surrounding the patio is a wide lawned garden; there's enough space to pop a few loungers down to catch the sun while watching the kids play at the other end. The front garden has some eye-catching tree specimens and herbaceous shrubs that are well manicured. This is a light-filled sunny home throughout which has a lot of character.

Cwmbran
Well connected & friendly
Tranquil surrounds, views and the countryside is everywhere you look, makes this a great spot for exploring and taking in the fresh air around every corner. Head upwards and you reach the top of the Twmp where you can survey Newport, Risca and much further over the Bristol channel.
If its something a little less taxing then maybe the Mon Brec canal is your thing, where herons and kingfishers will be you friends. One minute you can be in High Cross and heading towards Cwmcarn the next you could be heading much further north to Llanfoist.
On the warmest of days, take a walk and head upwards towards the mountain where you will find yourself in The Dorallt. Sip on a pint of IPA in the 18th-century inn or watch the kids play in the park opposite while you have a natter with friends over a Merlot. Head the other way and you can be in the Three Blackbirds or the Greenhouse for a thirst quenching pint or two.
Well connected? Despite feeling the countryside vibe you are still well connected here. Newport and Cwmbran are a 10 minute drive away. The M4 nips past to Bristol or Cardiff and in 2 hours you’re in London, Cardiff is a mere 25 mins away; Bristol 35 mins. If the train is more you, then the station in Cwmbran whisks you off to Birmingham in just under 3 hours.
