Beth loves:
The garden is perfect for me to potter with the kids and and entertain my friends and family.

This beautiful detached family home sits in a quiet cul-de-sac within a friendly community. The ground floor space is open, yet thoughtfully zoned to help maintain a cosy, homely feel. The dining room is filled by natural light from the large bay window, with enough room to comfortably fit a large family table, perfect for Sunday roasts and Christmas dinners. The generously sized living room leads through to sun lounge at the rear, overlooking the garden, making a perfect children's playroom or reading room. The good-sized kitchen has built in appliances and even has a smaller bistro table, a lovely little spot to enjoy your morning coffee.

Natural light also fills the first floor, which is made up of four large bedrooms and a family bathroom, recently modernised in fresh white with neutral tiles. The master bedroom has a modern en-suite with shower as well as a vanity unit cleverly extended by the current owners. Bedroom two benefits from fitted wardrobes and Bedrooms three and four are good sized doubles. The airing cupboard has also recently had a new system installed.

There is also a garage with electric doors and a large drive with enough space for friends and family to park and a handy side porch/utility area that is perfect for furry friends and muddy boots. The east facing garden with gated access to both sides of the property contains a shed, perfect for storing those bits and bobs and a large patio area, great for catching the late evening sun, glass of wine in hand.

Parkers Close is a great family home with excellent links to Leicester, Derby and Nottingham, as well as East Midlands Parkway & Airport. There is a real sense of community here and great amenities, with shops, cafes and a primary school all on your doorstep.

Ellistown is just within the eastern boundary of the National Forest.Ellistown is named after Colonel Joseph Joel Ellis of London, but its history predates him. From the 14th century it was in the hundred of Sparkenhoe and parish of Ibstock. Ecclesiastically the area was part of the Diocese of Peterborough from the English Reformation until 1926, when it became part of the new Diocese of Leicester. The village was developed for coal mining from the Victorian era.
