If you want to turn the key and open the door to a perfect countryside life then look no further. 2 Priory Cottages is one of four pretty terraced houses. From the front there is a gravel driveway with neat flower beds and steps to the front door. Take your wellies off in the porch and enter into a gorgeous sitting room with fireplace, large window and wood floor. The walls are a mix of chic greys and white exposed brickwork. There are floating shelves for your book collection and space for two sofas to curl up on in front of the fire and read them.
Through the hallway you find another reception room, which has a log burning stove and lots of space. There is room for a sofa or comfy armchair, a dining table and even a desk. The fireplace is beautiful and is nicely framed by the oak mantel. The ceilings are high and there is a light and airy feel to the home. The kitchen is at the back of the house and it is a real treat. The French doors look out to the cutest garden and to rolling fields behind. The kitchen units are on-trend grey and the tiles add a luxurious touch. There is a big Belling range cooker and hob, perfect for cooking up a family Sunday roast. The Belfast sink is big enough for all the washing up!
The back garden is beautiful. There is a patio, lawn and a seating area overlooking fields. There is an apple tree that was planted over 100 years ago, apparently it was a gift from the farmer. It then up the stairs to the first floor. The first room you come across is the huge bathroom with stand-in shower, bath tub, porcelain tiles and a large window with the perfect view. Mrs Clarke would never leave this room if she lived here. The master bedroom is at the end of the hall. This bedroom has a boutique hotel feel. There are two large built in wardrobes, a fireplace and lots of space. The window looks out to the front of the home across green trees and the sound of birds will be a pleasant tune to wake up to. There is another double bedroom on the first floor that is light and large. Up the next flight of stairs is the piece de resistance the third bedroom. It is huge and because it has two windows it is light and airy. Because it is on the top floor, it is nice and quiet. We love it.
