I can’t wait to grab my book and sit in front of the cosy fireplace
Guide price £800,000 - £850,000. This beautifully relaxed home offers four double bedrooms upstairs whilst boasting generous entertaining spaces downstairs. If you want your children to grow up with open spaces and views of green, or crave some extra room for when your teenager has friends over - then this is the home for you.
Once you’ve walked up the enticing front garden, you enter this home through a secure porch. Hang your coat up, pop your shoes off and head into the friendly hallway. To the right, you find the spacious living room. This is a room you can fill with pieces you've collected on travels, gifts from friends and photos of great memories. You can admire them from the comfort of the sofa whilst watching your favourite program and feeling the warmth of the wood burner. If you’re fancying a day working from home then there’s an alcove for a study area.
Head through the double doors to the extension to the large family room. Flooded with light from the two sets of patio doors, this is a peaceful place that lets the outside in. On a Summer’s day this is a great sunny spot to read, craft and relax.
Asides from being a bright room packed with tonnes of cupboard space, the kitchen and breakfast area creates a great spot for activities too! The double aspect windows and integrated appliances make this a great place for the designated chef. The breakfast area compliments the flexible layout of this room so the whole family (and guests) can be together in the heart of the home.
Upstairs, the four double bedrooms are serviced by a lovely family bathroom. Parents, the master bedroom has an amazing dressing area and modern ensuite bathroom…there’s even his and hers basins. You can move straight in, and make it into a wonderfully original home where the family can grow.
Mrs Clarke likes :
The fantastic zoned rear garden
As we’ve mentioned before, this is a great home for both everyday life but also when for when you have friends and family visiting. Outside has oodles of space for seating, plants and barbecues. To the rear of this home, there is a large patio area perfect for entertaining and a healthy 100ft+ garden that has been zoned off to create intimate and fun spaces for the whole family to enjoy. To the front of the home is a driveway for three cars and access to the garage that has been converted to create a utility room, whilst still keeping the section at the front for storing all the things you don’t want on show.
- Style : A perfectly bright and spacious family home
- Setting : On a desirable crescent close to Tonbridge town centre
- Three words : Quiet. Charming. Space.
Our favourite part
A distinctive, peaceful sanctuary; there’s no need to sacrifice individuality for practicality here.
Local Life in Beautiful Tonbridge
We love Tonbridge in so many ways as it really does offer a little bit of everything! During the week we love to grab brunch at either Finch House or Beyond the Grounds who both offer delicious tasting coffee and a range of tasty breakfasts. For a late lunch, we enjoy popping into The Gatehouse - it's buzzing at weekends and offers a comprehensive cocktail menu, if that’s your thing! For a great meal out I can’t recommend Havet enough – It’s a swanky Turkish restaurant that makes you feel like you’re dining up in the City. If you go here, don’t hesitate to try the mezze dishes as they really are to die for.
Weekends are for fun...you're spoilt for choice in Tonbridge. Jump In is an indoor trampolining paradise (whether you have kids or not)! If trampolining isn’t your thing then try out Mr Mulligans – a new crazy golf course - it won’t fail to impress. There’s also the Angel Centre with a range of indoor facilities including a swimming pool, so if you visit Tonbridge there’s always something to do.
If you’d rather do something a little more “slow paced” then head up to the famous Tonbridge Castle for a quiet picnic or even hire a small boat and sail down the river (remember to pack extra clothes just in case). The river flows down and through Haysden Country Park with acres of open countryside to explore plus an outside park for the whole family.
