Mr Clarke thinks :
this is the perfect pad for modern city living.
A stylish, spacious modern home in a brilliant location for city living. Split over three levels, the property has a mix of large entertaining spaces and peaceful intimates sleeping rooms. On the ground floor, you find a large living room and a modern kitchen. Two bedroom and a bathroom form the first floor. On the top floor, the main bedroom is a wonderful oasis.
The kitchen has been recently redecorated and is a great spot for the family to be together. There is loads of cupboard space, plus additional shelving and enough space to fit 4-5 people around the table. A double oven was installed when the house was built so there's no waiting for space when entertaining. The proximity to the supermarkets and independent traders makes this kitchen a food lover's dream too.
The lounge/diner is a fantastic size and the ideal family room. Throughout Summer the French doors are open all day with the sun streaming in. By day there's loads of room for the kids to play, and by night the dining space comes into its own. Full-wall storage and an entertainment system as well as a dining table that incorporates benches are clever additions to maximise the space.
Mrs Clarke loves :
The stylish interior and the huge main bedroom.
The main bedroom is on the top floor and is a stunning space with enough room for a King size bed, office space, en-suite, and in-built wardrobes. There's nothing quite like escaping to the top of the house, hunkering down and listening to the rain on the double Velux windows. Bedroom 2 is a great size double with a view of the Usk and the Riverfront Theatre. This room has been used as a double guest room and as a bedroom for 2 toddlers. Latterly it's been a playroom and bedroom. The double windows provide loads of great light, and constant sun throughout the the day. Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom that would also be a spacious sized office. It has an external door and a Juliette balcony.
The family bathroom is light and spacious with designer floor tiles and luxury fittings.
Outside you find a 6m x 5m garden with a combination of paving and decking. It's an alfresco diners dream with plenty of space for entertaining and a BBQ nook at the rear. The garden gets the sun throughout the day up until early evening. Although it may appear to be overlooked by the flats surrounding, the designers purposely ensured that the flat windows facing the house are either corridors or second bedrooms - so it feels a lot more private than you first think.
The final point to make is that there are two paring spaces with the property, which are like gold dust in these parts.
- Three words : Spacious. Stylish. Luxury.
The friendly hustle and bustle...

Watching the water flow through town day and night is definitely one of our favourite past times. Golden hour never looked so pretty. Amongst the riverside cafes and restaurants you’ll come across Jack in Quarters Coffee who serves a wicked one whatever the weather. Mr Clarke’s favourite is The Pod for one of their speciality gins. Be sure to say hi to Oli & Paul who are the lovely owners.
On the other side of you, you have Belle Vue park where you can grab a picnic and catch up with pals on the lush lawns. If you’re into rugby or football, then you’ll be pleased to know that Rodney Parade isn’t that far away. Sometimes if the winds blowing in the right direction, you can hear the cheers of the crowds.
