Cookham is a beautifully picturesque village sat on the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beaty and within the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Just 5-minutes’ walk down the road is Cookham Station which offers regular rail services to London Paddington and Reading making this the ideal spot for commuting. 

You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to outdoor pursuits. Locally, there is the green open space of Alfred Major Park. The Winter Hill Golf Club is just down the road and there are endless riverside walks along the Thames. A short drive north and you’ll find yourself within the stretch of quintessentially English countryside that is the Chilterns AONB. The area is awash with pubs, restaurants and historic villages and market towns. 

Closer to home, Cookham offers all the local village amenities that you could want. A post office, village shops and a selection of bars and eateries. The all-important pubs are within walking distance, the current owner’s favourite is the award-winning gastropub, The White Oak.
