A beautiful home
A large, newly refurbished detached home with four bedrooms, open plan kitchen/living room, sitting room, large garden with self-contained Annexe and scope for further extension.
There is off road parking for a couple of cars and plenty of street parking for when visitors pop by. Head through the front door and you are hit by a sense of calm and space. The original Victorian floor tiles contrast with the muted tones of the walls in the wide entrance hall that leads to several rooms. The first room on your left is a laundry room with a WC, storage, washing machine and tumble dryer, reclaimed butler sink and plenty of room to hide away unsightly shoes, dog bowls and wet coats. To the right is a large sitting room with a formal vibe complemented by the divine Matthew Williamson wallpaper and Farrow & Ball painted walls. There is a large corner sofa to curl up on and watch TV, and space for chairs to kick back in and enjoy an evening G&T when the kids have gone to bed.
The epicentre of the home is the vast, open-plan kitchen/living/dining room. This room has been cleverly designed to allow family life to happen within sight of mum - the living section has sofas and space for play, there is room for a big dining table to host dinner parties or a mid-week evening meal. The designer kitchen has lots of room and a great breakfast bar for a quick bowl of cereal. The kitchen is Cesar by Espresso London Design. It's custom made and designed and built in Italy. We love the walnut cabinets and Quartz worktops and high end integrated appliances. There is underfloor heating throughout the large room making it eco friendly and cosy under foot in the winter. We absolutely love the connection to the garden created by the bifold doors from the kitchen and the French doors from the living area so kids and dogs can run in and out - just make sure their feet/paws are clean to keep the beautiful resin floor clean! Although it is possibly the most family friendly floor ever. (There was even planning permission to extend this room further.)
