The wooden chalet and BBQ area
Guide price £700k - £725k. This beautiful cottage style home is located in the perfect spot, within walking distance of Bat and Ball train station, Weald Grammar school, Trinity School plus the all new boys grammar school. Inside, the home has everything the discerning family could ever want; a well-balanced kitchen/family room, four great sized bedrooms, two spacious reception rooms and a generously sized rear garden.
Step inside and walk through the entrance hall. Got plenty of shoes and coats? No problem, because here you’ll find a useful cupboard to organise all your bits. Carry on through this warm home and find the bright living room which gives you plenty of space and options to rearrange your furniture to compliment the characterful brick fireplace with log burner. Seal Road offers lots of storage throughout, one area of which you can find through the doors and under the stairs. Next you will find the hub of the home. Having been extended by the current owners, this creates the perfect family space and will continue to do so through all stages of life. The stunning kitchen has been created by a baker would you believe! The island has a sink with a 'hot' tap and there are two separate ovens with slide under doors, as well as everything else you could hope for in a modern kitchen. There’s even the added bonus of a large pantry so you can organise all your spices, whilst the washing is on in the utility room next door. Seal Road has the breakfast area we’ve dreamed of having before a busy day; the lovely bay windows are a great spot to relax and plan the week ahead. The dining area is a great entertaining space, allowing 10 people to enjoy sitting, chatting and laughing.
Climb the stairs and find three wonderful double bedrooms and a further cosy bedroom. The generous master bedroom has stunning views and benefits from a private en-suite, with hosts a large walk in shower. The family bathroom provides a large double ended bath, as well as a separate shower cubicle…this is an ideal place for little ones at bath time, and can also transition to a welcomed relaxation space when they get a bit older.

The beautiful kitchen designed for baking
We love the unique details throughout Seal Road. One of our favourite has to be the stable door in the kitchen which leads out to a wonderful patio; perfect for sitting out on a summers evening admiring the view down the luscious garden. Everything has been thought out carefully in this home, for example part of the garden has been sectioned off for the children. This adds some peace of mind as well as creates an exciting outdoor area for the little ones to play. There’s a cute summer house and decked terrace. Moving on through to the ‘adult’ section, there is a picturesque pergola with a lovely BBQ area and a wooden chalet (we’re thinking it’d make the perfect gym or home office) as well as a brick shed perfect for storage.
- Style : Comfortable cottage style family home
- Setting : Well connected to everything a discerning family needs
- Three words : Entertaining. Space. Family.

A stunning family home in Sevenoaks
Local Life in Sevenoaks
Sevenoaks is a boutique commuter town in Kent which has the lot…luscious park, tranquil lakes, cosy pubs and wonderful eateries, not to forget the friendly people. You have everything on your doorstep here. The High Street is lined with shops and forked so you have double the retail opportunities. There’s plenty of bars plus The Stag Theatre which is an ideal Friday night family spot, where you can all grab the popcorn and watch that film you’ve been secretly dying to see! On a nice day, take a stroll through Knole Park and feed the deer with the children then pitch up at Knole House for a freshly brewed coffee to rest those legs.
Family life here is a pleasant one. The well renowned Sevenoaks Schools draws families in from a far with its excellent ratings (but if that’s not your thing then there are plenty of other great schools to choose from). Adults and children love life around this lovely part of the country - and you can’t blame them! For the kiddies, there’s so much space to run around and explore. For adults, it’s useful to know that links into London Bridge take less than 25 minutes so it’s a real hotspot for those working in the City. Whatever is your thing, you will almost definitely find it in Sevenoaks.
