Mike thinks:
A home that transcends the ages. Growing and all-grown-up families will love the space, inside and out.

With its well-tended lawn and beautifully planted borders, the kerb appeal of this much-loved home is strong. Sitting in the quiet and prestigious area of Stow Park Gardens in a peaceful cul-de-sac, No.5 is a true hidden gem.

The entrance porch welcomes you into the airy hallway, which is equipped with plenty of storage space to keep everything shipshape.

The spacious kitchen sits to the rear of the home, offering an abundance of cabinet space to store provisions and a whole host of work surfaces to make cooking and entertaining a breeze. The bright and airy breakfast room sits adjacent, with a large window framing pretty views of the rear garden, making this the perfect spot for coffee and the papers while soaking in the views.

This space leads through to a handy utility room, housing the washing machine and dryer, offering plenty of additional storage for household items.

To enjoy larger gatherings with family and friends, there's a large separate dining room where we can picture weekend brunches and Sunday lunches.

Through the glass panel door you’ll find the spacious sitting room flooded with natural light from the dual aspect windows. Lovingly renovated by the current owners, this space simply exudes modern style.

There’s plenty of space for family and guests to relax here, while the addition of a beautiful built in Mendip log burner keeps toes toasty in the cooler months.

On the ground floor you'll also find a handy WC as well as a stunning home office with its own separate entrance and stylish bamboo wood flooring. We can't think of a better spot to work from home.

Upstairs, five generous double bedrooms offer plenty of space to accommodate family and guests. The main bedroom features its own private en-suite with large bathtub and walk in shower, feeling like its own boutique hotel suite.

The remaining bedrooms are all served by the family bathroom, comprised of a modern white suite and sleek design features.

Outside, relax in the tranquil garden, fully stocked with mature plants and hedges. Thoughtfully designed into various zones, you’ll find a seating and BBQ area, a pergola with living roof and lawned area where kids and dogs can roam free.
There’s ample parking for several cars on the large, paved driveway, leading up to a double garage with a fully electric door to the front and convenient access to the house at the rear.

Our favourite part
The effortless flow and sociable spaces create a home that is made for family and friends.

Newport Riverside

The friendly hustle and bustle...

Newport Riverside

You have the best of both worlds…Friars walk shopping centre is on your doorstep which hosts a gym, Cineworld, all the restaurants you could dream of, as well as a museum! The variety of architecture is inspiring; you can’t miss the uber cool university building.

Watching the water flow through town day and night is definitely one of our favourite past times. Golden hour never looked so pretty. In the day, you can watch all the comings and goings of wildlife and people. Amongst the riverside cafes and restaurants you’ll come across Jack in Quarters Coffee who serves a wicked one whatever the weather. Mr Clarke’s favourite is The Pod for one of their speciality gins. Be sure to say hi to Oli & Paul who are the lovely owners.

On the other side of you, you have Belle Vue park where you can grab a picnic and catch up with pals on the lush lawns. If you’re into rugby or football, then you’ll be pleased to know that Rodney Parade isn’t that far away. Sometimes if the winds blowing in the right direction, you can hear the cheers of the crowds.

Who needs a car when you have everything in walking distance? Newport train station is a few minutes away, so you can be well on your way to a further afield adventure in no time. Other things that are nice to know are nearby; the hospital, car parks for when visitors come to stay, passport office for when you want to jet off, and all the major supermarket brands. If you have little ones, Maindee Primary School is a great choice.
