Mr Clarke thinks :
The storage is endless and the house is immaculate.
The Granary is a beautiful barn conversion nestled in the stunning village of Beoley, Worcestershire. The three bedroomed home has been thoughtfully designed to provide a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room, a big sitting room with views across the large garden, a vast master bedroom with en-suite shower room, dressing room and study, two further bedrooms, bathroom and lots of storage in the shape of two lofts and a garage.
Beoley Court is a courtyard development of stylish homes set amongst fields and Worcestershire countryside. The Granary is a modern build in a historic building and has all the mod cons for modern living and all the character of a barn. The home and garden is perfectly presented and is ideal for someone looking to move in and start enjoying the lifestyle immediately. The private, south facing garden is approximately 0.5 acres with a lawn surrounded by mature trees, hedges and perennial flowers. The sound of the stream running at the side of the garden and the resident birds provides an idyllic backdrop for a day spent pottering in the garden or a drink after work. In colder months the garden can be enjoyed by sitting in the conservatory and looking out.
Mrs Clarke loves :
The setting is idylic and the house and garden is like a property from Country Living Magazine.
The kitchen is the beating heart of The Granary. There is room for a kitchen table and lots of space to cook. It is large enough for family and friends to gather and spend time together. When the kitchen gets too busy, head through the door and you come into the vast sitting room with fabulous log burner and spectacular views of the garden. This is the wow factor room and is large enough for a party yet cosy enough for a night in with a book and glass of wine. There are two double bedrooms downstairs, both of which are light and spacious and could make great guest rooms, a nursery or a study. The downstairs bathroom has been stylishly updated and has a shower over the big bath tub. There is also a utility room downstairs to hide away the laundry and unsightly bits and bobs.
Head upstairs, past the entrance to the huge storage loft, and you come to the Master bedroom. You will be forgiven to have thought you have walked into a boutique hotel because this room is stunning. It is spacious, light and has two doors that lead to the dressing room and walk-in wardrobe and to the en-suite shower room. There is also a garage, use of a large communal garden and private parking.
- : Style -- Beautiful three bedroomed barn conversion with charm and space
- : Outside -- South facing garden, communal gardens, garage and a babbling brook
- Three words : Charming. Country. Barn.
Our favourite part
The sitting room is stunning - curl up with a book, the dog and a roaring fire.
Beoley is one of those hidden country gems which you get to by driving along pretty country lanes, past lovely homes and find yourself in peace and quiet, but when you need a flat white you are only 20 minutes from a big town.
The village has a cracking pub, a highly regarded primary school and a lively community. There are also the other village must haves of a Village Hall and a Church. What more could you want?
So if you are a country lover then get the wellies at the ready, pull on the wax jacket and get ready for a life of rural bliss...
But if you are a city slicker who wants a slice of the country life but can't live without Waitrose, coffee shops and John Lewis do not worry for Beoley is twenty minutes from Solihull, five minutes from motorways to whizz you off to meetings.
Alvechurch or Redditch train stations are both approx. 10 minutes drive and both stations go direct to Birmingham in 25 minutes. Birmingham airport and Birmingham International station are 30 minutes away.
