This home is immaculate. We could turn the key, pop the kettle on, or even better... pop a cork.

Welcome to this charming end-terrace Victorian cottage, located in the sought-after and central Marlow area. This deceptively spacious home offers a clean and modern interior.

Gemma loves:
The flow of the home is perfect for entertaining friends and family. I can picture the housewarming party already!

Spanning across 1400 square feet, the property boasts three double bedrooms, providing ample space for families or those in need of extra room.

Stepping into the home, you'll be greeted by a front living room adorned with a gorgeous bay window, flooding the space with natural light, while wood flooring offers a practical yet stylish touch to the space.

At the heart of the home sits the open plan kitchen/living space, offering a modern and functional layout. The kitchen is fitted with high-quality appliances that will please the keenest of home chefs, while the addition of a breakfast bar provides the perfect spot for a coffee and the papers.

Upstairs on the first floor you will find the principle bedroom with fitted wardrobes, along with the large family bathroom featuring a separate shower cubicle and bath. Additionally on this floor, there is a utility cupboard conveniently located on the landing perfect for storage and keeping everything neat and tidy. Staying on the first floor is the second double bedroom which, thanks to it's double aspect, is super light and bright. Heading up to the second floor you will discover another light and airy double bedroom with the benefit of a large shower room. The perfect teenager hideaway.

Outside, you'll find a recently redesigned patio garden, perfect for relaxation and entertaining guests. The landscaped garden creates a tranquil atmosphere, and a bike shed offers storage space for outdoor equipment. Friendly vibes

Marlow

Marlow is one of the original down-from-Londoners’ honeypots. Something about its pretty historic streets, and the dreaminess of the Thames hung heavy with weeping willows and boat clubs, has for centuries pulled in those sick of the Smoke – like Percy and Mary Shelley, probably after peace, quiet and a better work-life balance than they could get in the capital, with its streets running with ordure and don’t even talk to me about the cost of barouche-landaus. Legions have followed ever since.

The river is a big draw for legendary Olympians and mere mortals alike. — you may see Sir Steve Redgrave wandering along the banks watching the eager weekend rowers, paddle boarders and boaters. There’s a winning food scene led by Tom Kerridge’s Hand and Flowers, the only UK pub with two Michelin stars, and popular year-round events including the Marlow Regatta and Pub in the Park.

Marlow is unquestionably well heeled. Smart residents have an array of places to be seen and to see each other. The High Street is buzzing and the schools are sought after. There are sports clubs to join, parks to play in, bookshops to browse around and numerous places to buy champagne. Yes, this is a bustling town, yet you’re also in the heavenly walking territory of the Chiltern Hills where you can dare to get your Le Chameaus muddy.

If you’re concerned about schooling, Marlow has it covered. Sir William Borlase is a grammar school right in the centre of town and is renowned for its excellent education, along with Great Marlow School. The primary schools (Spinfield, Danesfield etc…) all have fantastic reputations along with the fine selection of public schools in the area.

Idyllic & postcard pretty

  • Closest village/town: Lots of pretty villages in The Chilterns
  • Post Office: 1
  • Stores: The High Street has some classic favourites as well as some smart independents.
  • Supermarket: No one goes to super markets anymore do they! It's all about delivery from Ocado right?
  • Pubs: Too many to mention. The Hand & Flowers is the best known but there is everything from Champagne bars to old school boozers
  • Walks: Endless countryside walks in the hills
